Search Service

Access to records is free  on-site at Gwent Archives, and enquiries can also be made by email if you are unable to visit. 

Information about our service and collections will always be given free, however if the enquiry involves researching our collections there will be a charge.  This is made whether or not any relevant information is found, since the charge is for staff time.   Please see our list of search and copy services as well as our catalogues, the Archives Hub and The National Archives’ Discovery catalogue for more information on our collections and the services available.
