Biographical/Historical note
Monmouthshire Decorative and Fine Arts Society (DFAS) was founded in 2002, and is a member society of the Arts Society (formerly NADFAS).
One of the core activities of the Arts Society is the recording of church furnishings. Monmouthshire DFAS began its recording programme with St. Mary's Priory Church, Abergavenny, in 2007. In 2018, it completed its record of St. Illtyd's Church, Mamhilad.
