Biographical/Historical note

The Inner Wheel was formed on 15 November 1923, with Margarette Golding acting as the first Chair of the organisation. The Inner Wheel was established for the purpose of setting up a ladies' club along Rotary Lines.

Though the Inner Wheel and the Round Table are not officially linked, both share certain aims of serving the community; and they have often worked together.
