Biographical/Historical note
The growth of the Baptist cause at Griffithstown dates from 1875. The church was constituted with fourteen members in June 1876, and the foundation stone for the chapel laid in 1877. Ebenezer Baptist Chapel Griffithstown was officially opened on 10 March 1878. The chapel is still in existence.
