Custodial History note

The Card was in the effects of Mr William Evans of 75 Turberville Street, Maesteg. Mr Evans was a colliery pumpsman at St John's Colliery, Maesteg from 1920 to 1960. When he died on the 13th October 1970, the card was then kept by his wife, Mrs Annie Evans, until her death in April 1975. It was then passed on to her daughter, who held the card until 10 June 2014, when it was then passed on to Mrs Evans' grandson - the donator
