Dame Anna Maria Jones, widow 2. Right Honourable George Grenville Baron Nugent, Pelham Warren and Henry Wilmot Seton, esqs. 3. The Rev. [Charles] Shipley, his sons successively and others of a house, farm, lands and other property par. Bishton (or Bishopston) held by 1. by a lease for lives from the Bishop of Landaff in trust for 3. Provisions for payment of rent and mortgage interest and for investment of £40 p.a. in government securities for the renewal of the lease. Covenant by 1. to make the first renewal. 2 are granted power of sale and covenant to make later renewals. b) Reverend 23 Jul 1828 Lease 1. Right Reverend Edward Lord Bishop of Landaff 2. George Grenville Lord Nugent, Pelham Warren and Henry Wilmot Seton for 3 lives, after the surrender of the lease mentioned in (a) C) Charles Shipley died July 1834 leaving Conway Mordaunt Shipley his eldest son who came of age 9 Nov 1845. d) Pelham Warren died e) George Grenville, Pelham Warren and Henry Wilmot Seton have purchased £349. 7s 7d 3% Consolidated Bank Annuities. George Grenville and Henry Wilmot Seton purchased £54 17s 7d of the same and there remained £117 18s 5d uninvested. f) 20-21 Mar 1837 Lease and Release 1. Charlotte Shipley, widow and The Rev. David Williams D.D. guardians of Conway Mordaunt Shipley. 2. David Williams, Marcus Theodore Hare, Esq. 3. George Grenville Lord Nugent, Henry Wilmot Seton. 4. George Grenville Lord Nugent, David Williams, Marcus Theodore Hare of the premises to appoint 2. as trustees with George Grenville Lord Nugent in place of Pelham Warren and Henry Wilmot Seton. g) The annuities being £404 5s 2d and the sum of £117 18s 5d were transferred to the new trustees h) The fund now accumulated is £2004 16s 3d Annuities and £120 9s 11d cash. i) Marcus Theordore Hare died July 1845 j) 9 Mar 1846 Conveyance 1. Sussex, esq., Charles Kemys Kemys Tynte, the younger of Cefnmably, esq., later Captain, Grenadier Guards, Edward Thomas, Thomas Thomas, and Willliam Thomas all of par. Aberdare, co. Glamorgan. 2.  D1898/2/2 Estimate 26 Mar 1892 by Forster, Brown and Rees, Mining and Civil Engineers. Guildhall Chambers, Cardiff of moneys owed to Messrs. Thomas by Messrs. Tynte joint lessors to the Aberdare Coal Company of Cefn Pennar Ucha as a result of mistaken mining of Gnoll House Fields by the Company believing them to be let by joint leases of 26 Dec 1850 and 1 Aug 1856 but privately owned by Messrs. Thomas who should now receive a greater proportion of rents and royalties. 26 Mar 1892
