Biographical/Historical note

Maindee School opened on 28 January 1867. In 2014 Maindee Primary School was still in existence.

King Street Chapel was built in 1829 by the Primitive Methodists, who sold it in 1878 to a group of Baptists. Bethel was opened for worship in October 1878.
