Biographical/Historical note
Tintern Abbey and surrounding lands were purchased by the Crown Estate from the Duke of Beaufort in 1901. F.W Waller was a Gloucester based architect engaged on protective works for Tintern Abbey and buildings of the Tintern Abbey estate c.1901-1914.
