Biographical/Historical note
Rev. Brynmor Pierce Jones, MA (Wales), BD (London), was for many years a teacher of Religious Knowledge, and a Senior Lecturer at Caerleon College. He was also the Minister of Baptist churches in Gwent including those at Upper Trosnant (Pontypool) and Glascoed. He was the author of several books including 'Sowing Beside All Waters, The Baptist Heritage of Gwent', published by Gwent Baptist Association in 1985. The records in this collection may have been collected together during his pastorship and also as a result of his research interests and authorship.
