Biographical/Historical note

Monmouthshire Technical College had its origins in the School of Mines, at Crumlin Hall, Treforest. Since 1982 it has been known as Crosskeys College.

This survey was proposed in 1953, and preparatory work began in the same year. The survey was carried out between 1953 and 1956.
